My Background
I am a Los Angeles-based creative and communications specialist focused on environmental solutions and purpose-driven PR. I seek to work with organizations taking direct action to improve sustainability, social equity, and community engagement.
Throughout my life I have had the privilege of having the ocean and other forms of nature nearby to serve as a source of recreation, inspiration, and retreat. But from growing up near a coal-fired power plant that polluted our water to working with state lawmakers who represent environmental justice communities, I have seen firsthand how delicate nature is to the impacts of human development and how access to nature is not equitably distributed.
That is why I am committed to using creative communications to reduce polarization towards sustainable solutions and increase everyone’s access to a healthy environment.
My passion for storytelling began when I created my first home video at ten years old, and continues today as I seek to take inspiration from a diverse tapestry of pop culture elements – from movies and music to restaurants and art museums – in my work as a communicator.

My Credentials
I currently serve as the Communications Associate at the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators (NCEL), a D.C.-based nonprofit organization that assists state lawmakers in all 50 states in learning about and collaborating on environmental policy.
Academically, I received a Bachelor of Arts from Pitzer College, a member of the Claremont Colleges, where I double majored in Environmental Policy and Media Studies. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where I contribute to the school’s new Center for Climate Communication.
